How to Read ISN from BMW Locked Bosch MD1CS001 TC298 on Bench with CG FC200

The CG FC200 ECU programmer now supports full decryption, reading, and writing of encrypted Bosch MG1CS201 (B48) and MG1CS024 (B58) ECUs on the bench—without the need to remove board components or open the module casing. In addition, it has recently gained the ability to successfully read the ISN from MD1CS001 TC298 ECUs.

Requirements:

CG FC200 with the latest software

New DB15 harness

Procedure:

Connect the FC200 programmer to your PC via USB cable.

Update the FC200 software to the most recent version.

In the software, navigate to: BMW → Locked BOSCH MD1CS001 TC298.

Following the provided wiring diagram, connect the device and the MD1CS001 ECU using the new FC200 DB15 harness.





Click [Identify] to verify authorization and ECU connection.




Click [Read ISN] to complete the process.





All steps are performed successfully.
