How to Fix the “CG70 Airbag Reset Tool Monthly Activation Has Expired” Issue

A user reported that after previously linking their CG70 with a CG100X, they encountered the following messages when launching the CG70 software:

"The monthly activation has expired, please connect to CG100X to activate."

"The current product payment has not yet been established."

Solution from CGDI Engineers:

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Link the CG70 Airbag Reset Tool with the CGDI CG100X Programmer to refresh the monthly activation.

2. The CG100X used must be the same device originally bound to the CG70 during its first activation. (It doesn't need to be within an active service period.)

3. Perform two activation steps:

Combine the CG70 with the CG100X software.

Combine the CG100X in the CG70 software.

4. Once both devices are successfully linked and activated, you won't need to repeat this process every 30 days.

After completing these steps, the "monthly activation expired" message should no longer appear, and your CG70 tool will function normally.
