How to do Mileage Repair for Mercedes GLC 2017 with CG100X (Need Install Filter)?

Hello everyone,

Today, we are sharing an operation with the CG100X tool, courtesy of one of our customers. It might be helpful for you! Let's see how they did it:

1. Check Car Information
Verify the car type and year using the VIN. Here, it's a GLC, 2017 model.



2. Record Old Mileage
Take a picture to document the current mileage (125,682 KM).



3. Remove the Dashboard and Check Chip Number
Identify the chip where the mileage is stored: R7F701414.




4. Connect CG100X Software
Go to Dashboard -> Select Series -> Choose Brand, Model, Year/Chip.




5. Connect the Wires
Follow the wiring diagram.





6. Read Data
Check if the software displays the same mileage as shown on the dashboard.

7. Modify Target Mileage
Set the desired mileage to 73,909 KM and wait for the software to update.

8. Reinstall the Dashboard
Once done, put the dashboard back, and everything should be good to go.
