How to do Hyundai MEG17.9.12 DFLASH & PFLASH Backup and VIN Modification with FC200?

A customer recently used the FC200 to work on a Hyundai HB20 equipped with a MEG17.9.12 ECU. The device successfully read and backed up both DFLASH and PFLASH data, and also allowed VIN modification directly on the bench.

1. Wiring Diagram for Hyundai HB20 MEG17.9.12 with FC200



To connect the FC200 to the MEG17.9.12 ECU, use the professional jumper and follow this wiring setup:

Red = 12V

Black = GND

Yellow = CAN-L

Green = CAN-H

Brown = GPT-0

Purple = GPT-1

Also, connect the FC200 to your PC via USB and supply 12V DC power.





2. Operation Steps Using FC200 Software
Launch the FC200 software.

Select Hyundai as the vehicle make.



In the search box, enter MEG17.9.12 to locate the correct ECU: BOSCH MEG17.9.12 TC1766.

Click on "Platform" to access the operation interface.

The software will identify the ECU chip, serial number (SN), and hardware ID.

Proceed to read both DFLASH and PFLASH data, and be sure to save the original files after reading.
