CGDI CG100X Successfully Adjusts Mileage on 2024 Kia Carens via CAN BUS

Using the CGDI CG100X ECU Programmer, the odometer of a 2024 Kia Carens was successfully modified through the CAN BUS method. The mileage was changed from 33,333 km to 22,222 km, with the process completed smoothly and efficiently.





Required Equipment
 

• 2024 Kia Carens instrument cluster
• CGDI CG100X ECU Programmer
• 35X-CAN Adapter
• CAN BUS cable

Operation Procedure

Step 1
Connect the CGDI CG100X to a computer via USB, connect the power supply, and follow the wiring diagram provided in the CG100X software.

Step 2
Insert the 35X-CAN Adapter into the CG100X, then connect it to the vehicle dashboard using the CAN BUS cable according to the diagram.





Step 3
Open the CG100X software and select:
Dashboard → Asian Car → KIA → CARENS → 2024-S6J324CKSP (CAN)

Step 4
The current odometer value (33,333 km) will be read automatically. Manually input the new mileage value (22,222 km).



Step 5
After a brief processing time, the system confirms that the mileage adjustment has been completed successfully.
