This guide explains how to read files from a Mercedes-Benz ECU on bench using the CG FC200 ECU Programmer.

Example: Mercedes-Benz MED17.7.2 TC1797 (W176)



Step-by-Step Guide

1. Connect the device:

• Connect the CG FC200 ECU Programmer to your computer via USB cable.
• Supply power to the FC200.

2. Launch the software:

• Open the FC200 software.
• Confirm your ECU model.
• Enter the ECU type (e.g. MED17.7.2) in the search bar.
• Select BOSCH MED17.7.2 (Mercedes/A (W176)/180 1600—120) from the list.

3. Select “Platform” and check the wiring diagram.





4. Wiring instructions (using standard cables):

• RED = 12V
• BLACK = GND
• YELLOW = CAN-L
• GREEN = CAN-H
• BROWN = GPT-0
• PURPLE = GPT-1

⚠️ Ensure you choose the correct pin size to avoid poor contact.



5. Connect the ECU:

• Properly connect the FC200 programmer to the Mercedes-Benz ECU using the harness.
• Click “Connect” to establish communication with the ECU.
• Save the password file once connection is successful.

6. Read the PFLASH:

• Click “Read PFLASH”.
• After reading is complete, save the file.
